HEARx opened the first hearing care center in Florida in 1987. In 2002, HEARx completed the acquisition of a national hearing care company. To properly reflect its new position in the industry, the merged entity was renamed HearUSA. While still operating in many markets under its former names; HEARx, and HEARx West, most of the North American entities reside under the HearUSA banner.
Today, HearUSA has grown to over 180 company owned and operated centers in California, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, Missouri, and Pennsylvania. In addition, the Company oversees a network of audiology based and credentialed hearing care clinics that deliver quality care to the HearUSA insured members. Whatever the brand name may be, "It's clear we care".
