The importance of privacy

This notice is part of HearUSA's privacy policy, but it applies only to California residents. It elaborates on a few additional rights and details that were introduced by the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (the CCPA).

The terminology is based on definitions established in the CCPA. Take, for example, the definition of "personal information": under the CCPA, this includes your name as well as more general information, such as how you navigate parts of our website.

At HearUSA, we are mindful of our responsibilities under the California Consumer Protection Act ("CCPA"). If you are a California consumer within the meaning of the CCPA, these California-specific provisions apply to you.
